The WMFS Band performed for friends and family last night in preparation for the LMEA District IV Band Assessment next week. This crew is ready to STRUTT THEIR STUFF!
WFMS students in Coach Toney’s 1st Period Read 180 class accomplished an “Immaculate Week of Software” on their Progress Tracker this week!
WFMS teachers were feeling a little LUCKY today after a visit from some LEPRECHAUNS spreading good cheer for Saint Patrick's Day 🍀
SPRING SPORTS PHOTOS will take place on Tuesday, 3/19. Students on these teams will take pictures: baseball, track, volleyball, golf. Bring your uniform with you to school. You will change before you take your photo.
We hope you will join us for our annual SPRING SHOWCASE next Thursday, March 21st at 6:00 PM in the middle school gym. You will enjoy student performances, see demonstrations, view artwork, and tour the BOOK FAIR. There will even be FOOD TRUCKS, so plan to stop for a snack or dinner!
WFMS students are invited to attend a production of WILLY WONKA by WFHS and Talented Theater students. The performance will take place during the school day on Wednesday, March 20th. The cost for students is $5. Ticket money must be turned in to the homeroom teacher by Tuesday of next week.

Club Read members enjoyed their last meeting today. It was a fast-paced station rotation led by Gannon Ford, Ja’Mia Givens, John Levert, Abigail Parish, and Lilah Peabody. Students heard about 5 great books and laughed their way through pool noodle fencing, star jumping, and unlocking a mystery box!
The clinic for DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS starts TOMORROW in the gym at BLE at 7:00 PM! If you missed the first parent meeting, please plan to attend a makeup session in the library in the old Bains building tomorrow at 6:30 PM.

We encourage students to join us in celebrating SAINT PATRICK'S DAY this Friday by wearing a green top with jeans or uniform bottoms for $1. All proceeds support PROJECT GRADUATION 💚

The 7th Grade Baseball team defeats Central Middle! Go Saints ⚾️💙
The WFMS Saints Volleyball had a strong start to the season tonight. Go Saints 💙
Students in Mrs. Williams 8th grade ELA class present projects on the Civil Rights Movement.
The 7th Grade Baseball Team tied with Central Private last night for a final score of 6-6, while our 8th Grade Team blew them out at 14-1! Go Saints 💙
