West Feliciana Middle School

Our first Club Day of the year was a success! 🎉 Students spent the afternoon exploring their interests, trying something new, and connecting with others outside of the classroom. From Ultimate Frisbee, Pickleball, and Outdoor Games to Mahjong, Performing Arts, Edible Crafts, First Responders, WyldLife, Spanish Club, and so much more, there was something for everyone! 💙 We loved seeing our students learning, creating, competing, and having fun together. A big thank you to our teachers and community volunteers who gave their time and talents to make these experiences possible for our students. We appreciate you helping make our first Club Day a great one!

Today, our students wore red, white, and blue as we paused to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. ❤️🤍💙 Students also enjoyed patriotic popsicles provided by GAP as we reflected on the importance of remembrance, unity, and gratitude. 🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Lunch is bringing the flavor this week with student favorites like crispy chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and tater tots, plus fun specials like chicken sausage jambalaya and Friday “Totchos” to wrap up the week!

Graph Hoppers 🐸📊 Mrs. Thomas’s 6th grade accelerated math students were up and moving during a gallery walk focused on proportional relationships! Students analyzed graphs, described the context, determined whether each relationship was proportional, and created tables and equations when possible. Learning + movement + math thinking = a great day in 6th grade! 💙
