They’re measuring each run, collecting data, and will use their results to write a conclusion paragraph. Hands-on learning, with a little horsepower! 📏🔬

From the WFMS Soccer Coaching Staff:

Due to the large amount of girls who came to the soccer tryout last night, we feel a second round is needed to properly evaluate players. Since 47 girls showed up to the first tryout, it will unfortunately be necessary to make some cuts. We would like both the blue and white teams to each have about 18 players.

We will post the blue and white teams on Tuesday 9/29. Practices will begin Wednesday 9/30. ONLY players who attended the first tryout round are invited to come for a second tryout round on Monday.

It’s a four-day flavor lineup with cozy Cajun red beans, pizza, oven-baked chicken, and a Friday nacho fiesta to wrap up the week!

A special night for our WFMS Saints Softball team! 🥎💙 At the last home game of the season, we recognized our eighth grade players and celebrated their hard work, leadership, and dedication to Saints baseball. Congratulations, eighth grade Saints! 🤍

What a way to close out the home season! 🥎💙 The WFMS Lady Saints softball team defeated Zachary 11–7 in their final home game of the season. Congratulations to our Lady Saints on a strong team win! Go Saints! 🤍

⚽ Calling all future Saints!

It’s time to hit the pitch and show us what you’ve got! 💙🤍 We’re looking forward to seeing our middle school girls come together, work hard, and have some fun on the field.

🔬 Putting materials to the test! Our 6th grade scientists explored material deformation through a hands-on lab, investigating how objects respond to force and discovering that every material has an elastic limit. Lots of stretching, testing, observing, and learning in science this week!

WFMS Jr. Beta is off to a great start! ⭐ Students held their first meeting of the school year today and participated in fun, team-building activities designed to strengthen their leadership and communication skills. We’re excited to see these young leaders grow throughout the year! 💙
