A shout out goes to our 4H students who participated in last week's livestock show: Ava Robertson, Evelyn Pollet, Connor Parish, Emma Soulier, Abigail Parish, Valarie Patin, Taylor Triche, Lillian Wood, John Thomas Ritchie, Noah Johnson, Jayden Pruyn, Liam Perdue, Michael Ann Middleton & Camille Hebert. These students worked hard to prepare and present their animals!
Club Read was a success! Students had a number line partner discussion and raced to solve math problems about one of our books. Winning teams discovered the secret code to unlock a treat box. I’m very proud of my 3rd and 6th hour student assistants for the great plan and leadership!

Attention 8th Grade Students! WFHS will host a SCHEDULING FAIR on Monday, February 13 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the high school gym & auditorium. There will be a special meeting for parents of 8th grade students at 5:15 PM in the auditorium.

A group of WFMS students in Mrs. Langlois and Coach Toney’s classes took their learning outdoors to the Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge, students engaged in a poetry lesson, tree aging lesson using tree core samples, and planted trees with volunteers from Louisiana Sea Grant and the friends of Cat Island.

WFMS students started celebrating the holidays early today at their annual JOLLY JUBILEE 🎄 They concluded the fun with a talent show, which proved to be VERY entertaining 🎶

Students had a great time at the Club Read meeting yesterday! Club members Abigail D’Aquilla, Zane Aymond, Landon Singleton, John Levert, Bella Reich, and Mallary Jones planned for and ran the meeting. Students decorated cookies while discussing two great books and enjoyed one-eyed challenges and visual perception slides.
WFMS: There is NO after-school tutoring next week. Tutoring will resume after the holiday break on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
