-Wear your WEST FEL SPIRIT attire to our LEAP Testing PEP RALLY on Monday, April 25th. -Testing starts April 26 and continues through May 5. -Be sure to get a good night’s sleep on testing days and report to school on time and ready to test. -We will be in full testing mode until 11:30 each day. -No check-outs until the end of testing window to maintain a secure testing environment. -Students who are present and on time for all days of testing will be eligible for prizes.

Anyone not wanting to participate should wear regular uniform clothes. Students will receive proofs at a later date. In 6th grade: 3rd Place Fiction-Bailey Simmons; 2nd Place Nonfiction-Kaitlyn Whitaker; 3rd Place Poetry-Ava Cathey. In 7th grade: Tie 1st Place Fiction-Mary Benton Levasseur; Tie 3rd Place Poetry-Brylee Broussard. And in 8th grade: 2nd Place Fiction-Josie Gonzalez; 2nd Place Nonfiction-Allison Guillory; 2nd Place Poetry-Joey Peno.

WFMS swept the house today at the Louisiana Youth Legislature! Our students passed 5 bills and the following students were elected into office: Jared Lane - Governor, Laurel Fiser- LT Gov, Jack Sam Leak - Speaker of the House, Jayden Lee- President of the Senate
