Students in Ms. McMillans reading class have been researching trees and learning to identify a variety of species as part of a project in collaboraiton with National Geographic. They have identified trees and collected data all around campus, and they even went to Cat Island Natinal Wildlife Refuge to collect data on a 1,500-year-old cypress tree. WOW 😲
The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is partnering with the LSU Ag Center to offer a six-week COOKING COURSE FOR TEENS beginning this January. Each course is team-taught by a volunteer chef and nutrition educator and covers meal preparation, grocery shopping, food budgeting and nutrition. This program is provided at no cost to you.
