Youth Legislature pictures in front of Old Staite Capitol.
75 WFMS students traveled to the Old State Capitol this week to participate in a mock legislative session as part of the Youth Legislature program through Big Buddy. Students ran for state offices, wrote, presented, debated, and voted on bills. We are so proud of the hard work our students did to prepare for session and how well they did during session. Brylee Broussard was elected as President of the Senate and Marley Kador was elected at Lt. Governor. 10 WFMS bills were signed into law by the Governor and 17 students were inducted into the Hall of Fame for their professionalism and participation.
