Our Bains staff is top notch and we are proud to find ways to celebrate them! We are excited to announce our August Employees of the Month! 🌟
Ms. Samarah Whitfield is a 5th grade teacher who specializes in helping our students with accommodations. Her teammates describe her as a helpful member of the 5th grade team. She takes time to truly meet the students where they are. She goes above and beyond to help in the classes she supports and has employed alternative incentives and hand gestures to meet specific needs of her students. She reads and internalizes the students' needs and really and truly cares.
We were excited to welcome Mrs. Caitlin Morrison back to the third grade team as a paraprofessional this year! Mrs. Morrison has helped establish routines and procedures in a class where the teacher is on maternity leave. She taught lessons, she met parents for open house, and helped get the class underway at the start of school. She never complains and is always ready to help where she is needed. She helps support students in her role now and is always ready to assist teachers and students with whatever is needed!

We are excited to once again host you at our Data and Donuts meetings next week! 📊🍩 This is a chance for us to explain how to interpret your child’s data and explore how you can better support them at home. We hope you can join us!

Please see the attached flyers for information regarding dress for Thursday and Friday of this week. Please remember to follow handbook guidelines for free dress. Thank you!
