STUDENT COUNCIL
Each grade level will select 8 students to serve on the WFMS Student Council. Members of the Student Council are positive role models for WFMS students, staff, families, and the community. They work closely with the Staff Leadership Team to plan events throughout the school year and to uphold our school’s commitment to citizenship.
Joining the Student Council is a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, represent your fellow classmates, and make a lasting impact on our school. We are looking for motivated and responsible students who are eager to contribute ideas, collaborate as a team, and bring a spirit of positivity to every project. Student Council members not only help shape school activities but also serve as the voice of their peers, working to make WFMS an even better place for everyone.
Student Council members must consistently demonstrate the following leadership characteristics:
Be dependable, reliable, and respectful
Demonstrate a strong work ethic
Maintain good academic standing

Maintain an excellent attendance record
Model good judgment and decision-making skills
