Reflecting on Last Week

  • Congratulations to Ms. Amy Dreher, WFHS ProStart Teacher, for being named a ProStart National Educator of Excellence by The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF)! Ms. Dreher will be honored at the Education Excellence Awards (EEA) in Chicago on Thursday, May 17, 2018.

  • Mrs. Jean Woodside and Ms. JoLena Downing took our 4th and 5th graders to the WFHS to work with Ms. Amy Dreher and her students. The high school students did an amazing job in helping the younger students get a 'taste' for the culinary field. They taught food and kitchen safety and showed the kids how to make cookies, frosting, and homemade pizza! Ms. Dreher even included some science behind the fun. Ms. Downing and Ms. Woodside left with most of the kids saying they would definitely want to take her class when they get to high school.

  • The WFMS GRAND Showcase on Tuesday night was a GRAND EXPERIENCE!
