Reflecting on Last Week

We are so excited to get the school year off to a great start!  As we reflect on the year, we want to share the video presented to our faculty and staff during the West Fel Back to School Convocation. Back to School Video!

Mr. Milton celebrates the first day of school with the WFHS cheerleaders.

WFHS football players along with head football coach, Robb Odom, and principal, Karolyn Taylor, talk to WAFB about the upcoming year.

Stephanie Whetstone, Hollis Milton, and Jodi Lemoine, Bains Elementary Principal, discuss the new year with WAFB.

BLE Principal Torrence Williams and Assistant Principal Elizabeth Bristow greet students the first day.

Bains Lower Elementary student, Olivia Tucker, is excited about the  first day of school!

Kaiden Dixon is all smiles the first day of school.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to continue making progress in our plans for a new Bains Elementary and facility renovations.  The architect firms have been selected, and we will spend the next few months ironing out details of the plans.

The high school will host "Meet the Saints" August 26 from 5:30 to 6:00, which is a big community event where everyone is invited to come out and meet the fall athletes!

The middle school will host an Open House for parents August 29.

Grateful Moment #grateFEL

In case you missed it, the West Feliciana School District was 4th in the state in proficiency on the LEAP 2025 assessments. We are grateful for the hard work of all faculty and staff to make this happen and their hard work all summer long to prepare for the new school year.
