Tunica Elementary is one of the last remaining community schools in Louisiana.  Our enrollment is approximately 130 students. Tunica Elementary offers classes from preschool through the fifth grade. Our staff consists of 22 dedicated and caring professionals whose purpose is to develop all aspects of the individual student.

     We believe this can be achieved through programs designed to challenge and meet the academic, artistic, social, physical, mental, and emotional needs of each student. It is our conviction that educators and parents must work together to provide the varied experiences, encouragement, and support systems for each child.

     The administration, teachers, and staff strive to instill in each student the desire to pursue the quest of knowledge which will lead to the development of young individuals who are critically-thinking, productive, and caring citizens in our society.
